I am very proud of you for heading down this road. It can be tough, but it is totally worth it.

For me, carrots and broccoli and other similar veggies have been my saving grace. A full pound of carrots is like 200 calories. Very similar with brocc and others. If you find yourself wanting a snack, grab a handful of carrots to nosh on. Basically a free calorie snack, crunchy, and cheap as hell. They are full of win.

If there is anything that I can do to help, please do not hesitate to let me know.

Ooh, good for you! I found the hard part was turning on that mental "enough is enough!" switch and making the genuine effort to lose weight.

Once I had done that, my first step was to watch my portion size and not go back for seconds or whatever just because it was tasty. Filtering out the "bad foods" was secondary, to me at least, because I didn't eat a lot of junk foods to begin with I just ate too much. For example, I discovered that my morning bowl of cereal was two servings worth once I actually measured it.

Good luck! You can do it, and it actually gets easier once you start to adjust to the new intake.

Im in the same boat. I was starting to make progress with the Wii fit and just watching what I ate but then I got a job. So now i eat at the worse times and never have time for Wii Fit. =(

But I wish you luck and I hope I can get up there soon to visit you and Thomas.
