Rainy season in Dallas...

Wow. It's been waffling between rain, drizzle, and 90+% humidity for the past couple of weeks around here. Not too odd for some, but quite unusual for North Texas. ( Some random thoughts thus far: )

I hear ya on the lawn. I just got my exercise shoving the mower through our wild front wildflowers/weed patches. Our ground has some nasty soft spots from the rains we've gotten and shoving the mower through foot-high clover caused it to bog down a couple of times.

I could have sworn that I opened the kitchen window just before I went to bed. I must have seriously been tired... Sorry! ^^;

We've had so much rain, clouds and humidity that I think we have a record number of mushrooms/fungi growing in the front and back yards this year. At least I'm getting my minimum quotient of fungi photos though. The 90 degree plus heat, however, ISN'T being missed....
