Bad week to be my car: new battery, then new alternator, and now (ever since replacing the battery) it won't start when the engine's warmed up.

Sounds like a relay. Easy and cheap, as long as you know where to look for it. The repair manual says it's "located somewhere in the lower front of the car, in the engine compartment." No... REALLY?

Actually, yes. The '95 SL2 doesn't have a relay, apparently - it's all wired into the starter itself. Joy of effing joys.

I am really hoping it's the battery wires. But I doubt it at this point.
