I lost about 25lbs or so after birth, but then gained it ALL back plus more right after. I was so tired and stressed, I just ate junk food. And if you plan on breastfeeding, you are hungry ALL THE TIME. ALWAYS. Make sure not to just eat based on hungry, try to set a schedule for yourself!
My MIL stayed with us for a week after she was born and made pancakes and bacon and eggs every morning. And brought me candy and burgers and OMG.
