first of all, that girl needed the people's elbow. secondly, it was loud at first, but my ears got used to it and i jammed. third, aaron marsh was sick for poops sake! give him some credit, he did a good job for having a clogged up throat. finally, that girl that was behind me that i did not notice that you said was making weird movements and such, well i think she blew her warm breath on me intentionally quite a few times. it was creepy.
i don't know if this is how you feel, but sometimes just popping in a well produced album is much, much better than braving the noises, smells and people of a crowded venue.
ben and i gave up on enjoying live shows a long time ago.
oh man.. i totally agree. i have been going to less and less shows these days because I get so annoyed. i've never felt so old and crotchety. i probably used to be one of the annoying ones, that's the sad truth.
haha. try 24!!! it's a blast. my idea of a fun evening is renting a movie, drinking a cappuccino, surfing the net, and going to bed. and my biggest pet peeve is annoying, rude young people. it's so sad. just being around them annoys me. i feel so old all the time. ah well. i never did enjoy loud noises anyway.
man that does sound like a nice evening! these days, i look forward to going to bed at night (OLD!)... and to think, i used to function fine off of 4 hours of sleep every night.
your account of the night is funnier to me than being there. i think you should have been narrating out loud as all the madness unfolded. a piece of info not included, but that i experienced, was the tall boy behind me that was breathing into my hair. unlike the warm breaths you received, kristin, mine were cool in temperature. ok, why are people even breathing that obviously on others! somehow it's all entertaining to me, though. i may be 23, but i feel (and look) like i'm 15. i'm ready for another concert. right now.
that boy was so tall. I think that because of your exact height you were positioned directly under his nostrils. We wouldn't have had to stand so close to him if Youngie McAnnoying hadn't shoved us backwards out of our spots.
i must say that in the end, you suffered the most because you were wearing a hair blanket and it was smoltering hot.
i was looking up concerts and i found one for the doves...i think you've mentioned you like them before, maybe. i listened to some songs and they sound pretty good. it's $20 in may. yes? or yes?
