I dreamed this amusing and rather complex game last night. It is to be played mid-summer, in a large park (such as the Bois de Vincennes, for example) with lots of friends and water pistols. (Alexis insisted what I had just "invented" was paintball, but I beg to differ: my version is more cerebral, less painful, and, I dare say, raised to the level

I think there should be a "red telephone" for communications between teams, that would in fact be a walkie talke as this would save a lot of money in phone bills and add an additional tension between the president and the general as to who will keep it. Also generals should have a putsch option : rivalry within the same faction sounds exciting. Have you ever played a french game called Les Loup-Garous de Thiercelieux ?

I love the red telephone idea! Generals can already kill the President and take his/her place, which I guess is similar to a putsch option. I have not played that, but that sounds awesome. I've recently been attempting to learn as many new jeux de société as possible, as I've developed a sort of fascination with their effects on various social combinations.
