So im procrastinating a paper right now. what better way to put it off than write an lj entry since i have nothing else to do and Chris is watching some movie upstairs with kyle. So hes not here to distract me

Don't feel guilty about your mom -- after all it's just a casket filled with a decaying corpse. I'm not trying to be morbid, but if you and your mom truly loved each other, then, wherever she is today, she'll know that you love her, because love transcends life, death, and time. Kneeling next to a slab of granite and rattling off some prayers means next to nothing -- the love that you had for one another, however, will resonate throughout infinity.
