Of course they land where there is trouble!!
At least they have the 4 spacesuits, although, 4? Who will be going along with Wilf?
Poor Tardis! Did she get kidnapped? It looked as though she was ripped away! At least Donna is spared the pain of the severed bond even though she got the beginning. But now the Doctor has to deal with an unconscious Donna as well as the ripped bond with the Tardis!

He really IS a magnet for trouble. And the Doctor I think is just being cautious as his last spacesuit ended up getting destroyed mostly on Mars, he probably wants to have a back up.! (That's my story and I'm sticking to it)

I haven't read She Burns and I probably won't (completely because I read so very slow that it would probably take me six months so I never start anything that long), but I am so impressed by your writing in this story! The action is great, and your descriptions and sense of motion and time is fantastic! And you give just the right amount of suspense with that ending.

In my opinion, I would post this to AO3 and ffnet and wherever else you normally post. It's a fine piece in itself and should pick up some readers, and then it will make them want more. Since it is a sequel to She Burns, if possible, I would including an author's note that says "you don't need to have read the previous piece" and then gives some indication of where the characters are now - I'm inferring that the Doctor and Donna are married and that She Burns took them on an alternate timeline up through The Waters of Mars.

I was actually wondering if I should post a snippet so to speak of what happened in She Burns because it DOES matter in this story in the next part in particular. I'm so excited that you like it and I will make that update now before I post the second part which is ready to go. Thanks so much for your encouragement hon, I think I will post it later tonight then on your urging. :) *happy dances* I'm so glad you enjoyed this part so far. This is going to be a "short" story. Most likely no more than 7-10K words before I start the next story arc.

She burns really is a bit of a monster that got away from me but it is easier if you break it down into "arcs" within the story. I had never intended it to get as big as it did but there are sections that can be read on their own. If you are ever interested in reading it in smaller snippets drop me a line and I'd love to give you the cliff notes. :)

I would love a table of contents, actually, like "first snippet chapters 1-6; second snipped chapters 7-12". That would make it a lot more manageable for me

What do you mean first snippet? Second snippet? Do you want me to break the chapters down or just tell you which chapters are tied with which story arc? I can break down the main arcs, there's about 5 in She burns. The first two arcs are the easiest to get through cause my chapters weren't longer than several thousand words but it is the later chapters that average 10-15K words and are the monsters to get through. I will work on at least doing a summary breakdown.. message me love so we can chat about this more! :)

Yes the thought of summarizing that whole story with over 300,000 words is very daunting and not something I would be able to do very quickly. Not while I'm working on the other stories that I am now.
