Love test

If you ever want to test your love for an object, list it for sale in craiglist with some photos and then have some folks over for in person viewings - you will become very protective of your item's fragile (imaginary) feelings.

thanks! The girl who berated it actually loves it, she's just trying to get it for 300 bucks. But she comes from a really weird school of bargaining - if he said she loved it a ton but wanted to pay less, I'd be way more flexible with her on price. It's turning me into a witch!

What, your sofa is a big wussy? Can't handle criticism? I don't think I like your sofa at all!

(just kidding)

Hi... artgeek78 December 28 2005, 04:09:52 UTC
I just stumbled on your LJ through a comment you made in the overheadinNY group. I found myself nodding my head as I read: "Haha! I did that with my old car when I sold it on Craigslist" and "So other grown-ups have totally regressive, irrational fears too?" (I seem to think that my porchlight scares off the boogeyman that *only* lurks on my front porch between 9 and 10 p.m. I swear it's haunted).

So anyway, I added you as a friend. Hope that's okay. I'm not sure if you don't post much, or if your journal's mostly friends only, but whenever you *do* post, it seems like I could learn something from you. :)

Thanks for saying hello, I've added you back - I post a little more than it appears from the outside, and lately I've been mostly friends only for no particular reason, honestly. But I am glad you said hello, and I hope your porchlight keeps fending off the boogeyman!
