First part || Hello Singapore!
The day has come..everything went by so quickly and now here I am..in Singapore!
I finally did everything I had to do at home and now I can let everything go. Way to start the (Lunar) New Year!
Let's start from the beginning.
Packing..what should I bring with me, what should stay at home? There's a limit how heavy a baggage can be and in addition, I'll need clothes for hot and cold weather! Singapore is a country where it's warm/hot and humid like Vietnam but Japan in April won't be as hot as those two countries. It's not going to be cold but neither will it be hot as Singapore or Vietnam.
So I had to think forward. That took time..and I'm a person who dislikes stress so yeah :P We went by car to the airport, later than originally planned. I thought that it would be still okay..but oh no, didn't calculate properly. There was so much traffic and I started to fear that I wouldn't make it to the check-in anymore since I thought they'll close 90 minutes before the departure. I got so anxious. When we arrived at the airport my mother and me were running throughout the whole airport to find the check-in for Emirates while my brother was looking for a parking lot. It took us a while until we could find it. And I was so lucky..there were 7 minutes left until they closed it. Phew...yokatta! I couldn't eat lunch with my mother and my brother though. There was not enough time left so I had to go to the gate as fast as possible. I said goodbye to my family and went to the gate. It was surely the goat that gave me luck ;P The rest went fine. I watched movies in the plane and so time went by pretty fast. Arriving about one hour later than announced I enjoyed my time at the airport of Dubai in giraffe, a nice cafe/restaurant. I ordered a ginger blast and french fries :P the ginger smoothie was so good! I loved it! Ah yeah and the food on the airplane was good as well ^^ Didn't expect that I'd like it that much. I didn't sleep much last night that's why I decided to sleep on the way to Singapore instead of watching even more movies (normally I watch as many movies as I can but this time I have to get enough sleep because I have to be in school at 8:45 am!) So I only watched one more movie, Ek Villain. A good movie with one of my favorite cuties in it *g* ah..and there was a man next to my seat.. I just looked at his screen because he was the only one still having a movie (or whatever) on screen. We eere landing and he still was watching..now..you know what he watched? From what I've seen probably a documentary about the DNA of trees or some insects or special animals in the sea. My thought was: Why would you watch this on an airplane? When there are so much new movies to watch..for free. Lol. I just thought that this was really funny..haha, and interesting. I was really tired when I arrived in Singapore. Fortunately I booked a transfer from the airport to my accommodation. A kind man picked me up and dropped me at the Crescent Building (that's how it's called) He told me what to do because there's probably no one there...yeah..when I heard that I was like..wait what, no one's here? Nobody to welcome me or something? Okayyy. But of course, I didn't show that I was irritated. And yes, there really was no one..just a letter on the desk with my name on it. Cool. When I found my room I wasn't able to open it immediately. But the door opened itself anyway. I was pretty surprised lol. Why? Turns out I had a roomate.She opened the door and yeah, the room is so tiny! She told me that she will probably move in a different room next week so I'll have this room for myself. Well I'm going to skip things here..it was afternoon and I wanted to eat dinner outside somewhere nearby. I was hungry and I wanted to explore the place. But! Nope..too tired. After taking a shower and brushing my teeth I took a nap..for five hours lol. I wanted to wake up after half an hour or an hour but yeah. I decided that I should rest and just skip the dinner. I have to be fit for school tomorrow and I was just too tired..and now I'll go to bed (again) :P That's it. My way to Singapore. And here I am..not knowing anything what is going to expect tomorrow. Anyway, hello Singapore! ^___^
