Who: Madison Paige and YOU, citizens of Bell Pointe! Where: A street. Any street. Pick one! When: Night, Day 57 Rating: PG; mature-ish themes Summary: Stir-crazy, sleep-deprived Mad finally snaps and goes for a walk.
It might not be raining, Madison, but it's foggy enough for this ghost-like hollow to be blend in whether he wants it or not. On Carnation Court there's the sound of something moving in quick bursts of speed before the said hollow appears closeby suddenly from the use of shunpo during his nightly roaming. He didn't even see her in the fog.
"Gah!" Madison let out what could only be described as a girly scream as someone - or something - appeared out of thin air next to her. She staggered back, her heart thumping frantically in her chest, adrenaline infusing her tired limbs. She couldn't get them to unfreeze long enough to run, though, and she wished like hell she'd thought to take a weapon with her.
Stupid! Stupid, stupid, stupid, and now I'm going to get myself killed.
Well that scream was irritating but it stopped him from continuing on. He looks at Madison flatly, not too impressed from her reaction when it interrupted his thinking. He had an Ichigo to plot against to push him to regain his powers and this didn't help.
Though the voice sounds familiar. He eyes Madison for a moment or two before he smirks in an unsettling way. Ichigo told him he wasn't allowed to hurt anyone but... he never does what he's told anyway.
The only things in her pockets were her keys and her credit card, and neither of them would be any good in a fight. But Madison Paige was resourceful - usually. Right now, the only resource she could think of was flight, not fight.
"In that case, I'll just - go." And she started to back away, hoping the fog would swallow her.
He starts walking forward when Madison starts backing away. She was the one afraid to go in the fog, wasn't she? If that was the case then he was going to have a little fun with her.
"None of your business," Madison said, echoing his earlier statement with a little censoring. She was still backing up, backing up, without turning away from the strange pale man - or whatever he was. She didn't trust enough to turn her back yet, and she wasn't sure which direction to go in anyway - although she supposed it didn't matter, as long as it was away.
"Hey!" Madison jumped back, surprisingly fast. After everything that had happened with Ethan, the things she'd gone through, her reflexes were still sharp, on edge. But she knew that wouldn't help her much if this guy decided to go for her.
"What do you want?" she demanded, backing away further. Wait 'til he's distracted, then turn and run, Mad. Don't look back, just run. Run.
Madison didn't rise to the taunt. Instead, she stopped, folded her arms and stood her ground, but her muscles were tense and her fight-or-flight reaction was still set to flight at a moment's notice.
"It wouldn't be the first time," Madison said, successfully concealing the waver that threatened to enter her voice. She slid her hands into the pockets of her jacket, her fingers brushing against her keys in one and on her UrPhone in the other. If he decided to go for her, she'd make sure to place a call to the entire town so they heard what happened.
And hey, she could always key him in the face. It probably wouldn't be very effective, though. I wish I had my gun.
Why hollow thar.

"What - who are you?" she asked, wondering if she was seeing things again.

He grins wider and pretends to make a move that he's going to jump at her.

Part of him is curious since so many were afraid of the fog that drifted about. Humans were such hypocrites.

"So ya thought a walk would do ya some good in a place where ya can't see for shit, hmm~?"

Obviously, she'd been wrong.

Not hinting at a threat at all. Just a casual question, really.
