Sam's Weird Red Flower Shirt
A controversial shirt - some people hate it, some people don’t care either way, and some people are just confused. This is a white dress shirt that appears to have a faint flowery pattern to it. We discover, however, when Sam rolls up his sleeve, that the reason the pattern is faint is because it’s on the INSIDE of the shirt. The other interesting feature of this shirt is that it only opens and has buttons from collar to sternum.
Brand Information: Guess.
APPEARANCES:
This odd shirt first appears in Children Shouldn’t Play With Dead Things (2x04). Sam wears it when he and Dean are discussing possible ways to kill zombies before they head out to track down Angela Mason. He keeps it on through the ensuing action sequences and while reburying the corpse.
In Croatoan (2x09), Sam wears it for the final scene when Dean starts to tell him about what their Dad said before he died. Since this scene overlaps with Hunted (2x10), Sam is also wearing this shirt in that episode. He keeps it on until after visiting the Roadhouse.
This is possibly the shirt that Sam wears in Roadkill (2x16), during the flashbacks of him telling Dean about the highway and them doing research.
In Hollywood Babylon (2x18), Sam wears it from the beginning of the episode until the Exec is hung from the rafters.
In What Is And What Should Never Be (2x20), Sam is wearing it during the final scene when he and Dean talk in the motel room.
In Bedtime Stories (3x05), Sam is wearing it at the beginning of the episode while he and Dean are arguing in the car.
In A Very Supernatural Christmas (3x08), Sam wears it at the end of the episode when he and Dean celebrate Christmas.
In Ghostfacers (3x13), Sam wears it at the end of the episode when he and Dean watch the video the Ghostfacers made.
In Lazarus Rising (4x01), Sam puts on this shirt directly after he is reunited with Dean and before Ruby ("Kristy") leaves the motel room. He wears it for the rest of the episode.
In Metamorphosis (4x04), Sam is wearing it when Dean comes back to the motel room after having discovered Sam’s secret exorcisms. He keeps it on for the trip to Carthage, Missouri, but changes out of it before they track down Jack Montgomery.
In Sex and Violence (4x14), Sam wears it at the end of the episode when they say goodbye to Bobby.
In Free To Be You And Me (5x03), Sam wears it when the other three Hunters show up at the bar and try to persuade him to help them fight the demons.
In Changing Channels (5x08), Sam wears it during the opening theme song when he and Dean toast their beers and smile at the camera.
In Death’s Door (7x10), Sam is wearing this shirt in Bobby’s memory of a movie-night with the boys.
