Two today, because for once I actually had the time (I'm sure there is something that I'm forgetting that I have to do...)

Also, there are two, because for some reason I have surprisingly little to say about these episodes...

I'm still hoping they bring Gabriel back somehow...but for some reason, I think dead angels are deader than most - they're dead like YED. Dead and not coming back unless they are hallucinations or dreams.

Well I'm actually not so sure about that one. God brought Cas back, twice, so there's no reason He can't do the same for Gabriel.

Yes, but in both cases Cas was exploded. He wasn't impaled on an angel-killing sword. To me, the angel-killing sword is more final.

i got my S5 DVDs on saturday... and yesterday the girls watched Changing Channels again. hee!

Again...Cas was exploded both times, whereas Gabriel was killed with the angel-killing sword. To me, the sword is more final. (But, I WOULD be delighted to be proven wrong)

I'm just amused at the idea of Cas trying to be "sheriff" simply on the grounds that no matter how many times the others kill him...he always comes back.

Enjoyed your comments as usual. "Curious Case" was one I never rewatched because it felt off to me, but after your review I want to watch it again and look for what you pointed out.

"Changing Channels" was a terrific episode. I read in an article that Jared did his own part when the nutcracker was released, even though there had been a stuntman ready to do it. They measured the ball's arc several times and then positioned Jared back far enough, but that every man in the room winced when it was filmed.

Jared's a braver man than I...and I'm not even a man. :P

I meant to say in my review, but I forgot: if S4 was about putting Dean in funny costumes, S5 was about bad things happening to Sam's groin :P

Very nice. These are fun, I'm just going to comment to say that Sam would never have had an xbox as a child anyway because they weren't invented yet. He probably played one in college or had high school friends with one.
