I tend to forget this episode. It wa s filmed in Fort Langley, when I went there in July I couldn't stand on that same dock because the women's rowing club was meeting there! I was also reminded of this episode last night while watching Grimm. The actress that played Joyce was on Grimm.
Bruce Hornsby, also has had a very successful solo career. LOL
I enjoyed this episode. I liked Joyce and George. I wonder whatever happened to George?
I saw the beginning of the episode, with the cursed objects, as a homage to 'Friday the 13:the Series'. Did you watch that show? I see reruns of it now, on the chiller cable channel, and it looks real cheesy, but when it was originally on, I loved it.
Forgot about the truck that almost kills Sam, hello end of 'Devil's trap'.
Haha, maybe, but I figured Sam would know him from the Grateful Dead.
I just figured the Winchester's killed George.
I never watched Friday the 13th: The Series. I'm not actually much of a fan of horror...and yeah, if it was on when I was a kid, I definitely wouldn't have watched it. Everything freaked me out too much - even cheesy things. :P
I honestly have no idea how this happened. Besides Supernatural, the only horror movies I like are comedy-horror, such as Shaun of the Dead or Dale and Tucker vs Evil.
I didn't know Bruce Hornsby was with the Grateful Dead! I just thought he had a short career with The Range!
Are we actually SURE Frank is dead? I think he still could show up. We know he's paranoid, so maybe he just decided that the Leviathans were onto him and staged his own "death". There was something about that scene that seemed like it wasn't supposed to ring true.
This was kind of a forgetable episode, but it did have some good moments. I loved the fight with the ballet slippers and the little girl looking shocked every time her feet did something unexpected.
Joyce is one of those actresses who has been on everything. I think she was even on my mom's soap.

But yeah, this episode isn't really good or bad, but it's not exactly memorable either.

Sam should really stay away from Semis! :P

Then, if you don't mind me asking, why are you a fan of Supernatural?

Haha, it seems everyone knows Bruce Hornsby but me... the only thing I recognized from his biography was his stint in the Grateful Dead. :P
