Hello!
Before anyone asks - yes, I know I haven't started S14 rewatches yet, even though I promised that I'd start them in November (after saying I'd start them in October.) I had a project due on November 30th that I ended up pulling a few all-nighters for, and then I wanted some time off. So, my aim is this weekend - let's all cross our fingers.

Under the cut! :) )

The only thing that rankled a bit with me was all the references to Texas' shitty gun laws. I just dont know if that plays as cheap jokes in 2019.

And yeah, I didn't make any comments on the gun laws, because at this point I just... don't know where the lines are there, and that's better suited to commentary from Americans.

I was satisfied how they brought Lee in as an 'old friend' whom we've never heard of--good writing! And Dean telling about the ghost sickness was a great continuity tie-in...it seemed like Dean was trying to keep the stories tight, like he wasn't telling about all the apocalypses (apocali?) he's survived...
And it really worked for me to re-energize Dean in going back to fighting impossible odds because that's what he does instead of lying around the bunker in a depression ( ... )

Although I don't know how Sergei would know that.
Great recap, as always!

I actually did enjoy the story, just Lee didn't have to turn into a human monster.
