I can’t remember the exact quote, but it was something along the lines of “I’d rather spend my life with the birds then waste it wishing I could fly.” The character (on a TV show, yes, I know) goes on to tell the achingly beautiful woman that we cannot do anything, that we can aspire to anything. And. You know. She’s wrong.
