If 95% of the increase in +100K jobs were people making 95K+ in 2007, that's not really a story.
Of course, you could argue that we shouldn't have 20% making 100+ fairly easily. I wonder how many of those are related to counterterrorism stuff where you would have overpaid (everyone) to ramp up staffing in a hurry.
Well, I doubt even McPaper would call a 5% raise in 18 months 'substantial.' Defense dept suddenly adding counter-terror experts since 2008? Maybe. The transport dept adding/raising 1700 employees that make $170k or more?
