...if you pre-ordered from Germany and got express shipping. which some 'smart' people did. And they have their books. So SPOILERS ARE OUT THERE, fair warning.
Wow, some people really have a "day one" philosophy, don't they? I mean, I can understand why Mr. Martin is upset; I wouldn't be happy if I wrote a book, planned a whole bunch of promotions, and then somebody broke the street date on me. But the complaints I've been seeing from people that spoilers are now suddenly everywhere, and impossible to avoid? Where, exactly? I've been to all my regular time-wasting sites today, and I haven't seen any mention of the book, much less a spoiler for it.
In fact, I was thinking of waiting a while to read the book, even though I've got "day one" delivery from Amazon. I'm close to the end of my Wheel of Time re-read, and then I have to read Wise Man's Fear, for which I'll likely want to re-read Name of the Wind first, and then I have to decide if I want to re-read the rest of the "Song of Ice and Fire" first, or maybe just Feast for Crows...
Well, I imagine some fan sites have spoilers or at least spoiler threads. I know people that got spoiled on FaceBook amazingly enough. For 'normal' people probably hard to get spoiled.
Maybe the book reviews by users on amazon now have spoilers? Eeeep.
