Actual measurable progress

I picked up yoga a bit over a year ago to deal with the tension head aches I was having from my job. Long story short it worked and the head aches are gone, but it wasn't until tonight that I realized I've actually made much more progress with my practice ( Read more... )

Hurray for you! That's wonderful, and I'm so glad for you.

It gives me hope that all the stuff I'm doing will help my own lousy ankle.

Yoga is incredible for that. I broke my wrist in seventh grade and didn't heal very well from it - it remained comparatively weak and stiff - until years later when I started practicing yoga regularly.

So, yay for joints!

It was 'random Internet lookups,' so no particular style. I haven't practiced in a while, but my joints remain in better shape than they were pre-yoga.
