remember that "cross my heart and hope to die, something something stick a needle in my eye" that kids used to always say? well, yeah!
that sucks about the gas pump. sometimes we would have problems with the pumps like that, stupid intermittant problems. I would usually put the stupid thing out of order and call it in. we weren't supposed to actually put it out of order unless it was practically on fire, but I was like, "eff that! it's spilling gas over half of our customers" nothing like having the management not actually know what it's like to be a cashier jocket.

yeah someone told me that i must have broken a promise cuz of the saying "cross my heart and hope to die, stick a needle in my eye" but i honestly cannot remember breaking any promises to anyone in the last 10 years! lol
yeah this gas pump pisses me off. my boss doesn't want an out of order sign on it, yet he doesn't care enough to call it in and have someone come out to look at it. (this will probably cost him money which is why he won't do it) so i had to hear it from like 3 customers today that it spilled over. "that's why we put a sign up there to not let it run automatically" was my reply to all of them. it amazes me how unattentive people are most of the times!
