[Waking up in bed, alive and well with nothing out of order, Integra has a moment, just a small moment, where the little girl in her soul wants to roll over against Rider's chest and burst into tears. You've denied her a valiant death and the promise of Heaven, Mayfield. It's life, if a town can have one, is

And we'll definitely be needing whatever we can get. If the nukes, cannibals, or shit were enough I ended up fighting that fat Nazi asshole Major again...

It never will be. A friend of mine once told me this place shows no respect for kings... or any other life for that matter. This system they have, it's a mockery to all those whom have died for their causes. We're merely treated like dolls in a little girl's playhouse. The lives we put on the line are so easily replaced as if they have no value to them.

I get the whole big resistance thing, but don't armies tend to fail when their leaders start killing their members?
So what's the point?

No bunkers, no fortifications, no supplies, no rations, no weapons, everything falls down, yes?
If I had things my way, every house in this God-forsaken town would find themselves with a solid bomb shelter and the means to support themselves in the instance something like last weekend ever happened again.

See, that's the thing. I'm unpredictable! You think I'm going one way, I go the other. You think I'm going to zig and I zag! You're ready for me to zag.... I zog.

[Ah, yes. The Major actually goes after credible threats, bro.]

My dear, I believe you are right in urging cooperation not only against the Major, whose actions are certainly intolerable, but against our town's administrators as well. There are those among us who can be considered enemies as well as the town itself.
I have lent my services to an effort against Lucy Smith at one time, but it fell short quite quickly unfortunately. It's rather lax here. While groups are often welcoming of new members, keeping it together is the main challenge more than the struggle against the town. Many of us are, after all, have little experience with training or being organized.

The apathy is pervasive. I can understand people's mistrust of yet another soldier striding in, clacking her boots about and making a fuss of things.
