Candy. And masks.

[A muffled snort.]

Does this place think us mere children to be satisfied with such trivialities? Bloody nonsense.

It will have to try much harder to haunt, if last night was any indication. We've films at home more terrifying.

haunting, candy, halloween, not scared, masks

[You can hear that Abel has been enjoying HIS candy oh yes. Munchmunchmunchmunch]

Well.. At least it's good candy, right?

I'm not about to eat it, thank you, Father.

It's not like it's poisoned!

Did you eat the pie?

Are you sure of that, Abel?

I don't care for pumpkin.

There are people to watch the films with who are scarier.

Quite so.

[An ironic chuckle.]

Although, there are also those of us who live it, unfortunately.

Really? I'm sorry to hear that; the closest I come is enough quotes to make me feel like I'm in a looped film.

Family tradition and duty. "Married to the job", as the saying goes. With repetitive exposure comes adjustment.

Hn, considering some of this city's other amusements, I find it quite odd indeed.

I took the liberty of making up for their failure at spreading true fear, Master.

[Oh yes, he frolicked amongst the spirits and deafened himself on the populous's screams.]

Is there anything I can make up to you, Countess?

I'm hardly surprised, Alucard.

Hn, yes, as a matter of fact.

[Integra's voice is chilly.]

I expect to see you before me in less than seven minutes, vampire.

[And she switches off the device.]

Sir Hellsing, were you at all aware of the hysterical incident two weeks ago?

What incident?

The evening of October 14th, the city ran into chaos, if you recall the paranoia and random plague-like murders rampant about during the course of two days.

Mind you, I shouldn't expect any less, but your vampire decided to drag my subordinate and myself into the skirmish. I barely escaped with a graze and nearly lost an eye, while Anderson most unfortunately lost an arm; your vampire has decided to keep as his personal chew-toy.

Given Anderson's regeneration and my swift recovery, I'm not about to enact physical retaliation, however! I do demand a reprimand of some sort, is that unreasonable?
