Rather well, yes.

And who are you?

Oh, I-I'm sorry... I'm.... Alessadro. P-Pope Alessandro XVIII. I recently m-met them both not l-long ago.

Are you by change acquainted and/or associates with Father Abel Nightroad?

[A deadpan tone]

Whoopee.

Maybe something will get done this year though. Sure would be nice to see a little progress once in a while around here.

Indeed, Miss Midna. My associates and I will be working on that little problem forthwith.

Our own brand of "New Year's Resolutions", if you will.

Thank the Gods for that. If I ever get my chip out here you can count me in on whatever you're going to be doing too.

Sounds like it'll be loads of fun.

Of course. I'd be grateful for whatever assistance you're able to give.

Oh, I don't doubt that. These scientists be damned, I don't plan on eking out the rest of my life in this hellhole.

[As usual, she's there in a flash.]

I'm here, Sir! [A quick salute. Only to drop it and fidget a bit nervously.]

Work...? What sort of work, Sir?

[It's been a while since she's heard that word.]

[Integra quirks an eyebrow at the draculina, then steeples her fingers on her desk.]

How fare our plants, Seras?

[Plants? That can't be what she was called here for. She gulps.]

T-they're doing very well, Sir!

Good.

[Now Integra fixes her with a somewhat firm eye.]

What have you been eating?

[Walter walks close once the transmission has ended and Integra has a spot of time free from talking to the other residents of Discedo.]

I am glad you enjoyed it; it is a little disheartening not working with your usual brand, but it is manageable.

If I may ask? What do you have planned?

[Integra drops the wretched device with a grimace and leans back in her chair.]

Mm, and I dearly miss it. [A curious smirk.] Still, it's teaching me to cut down my sugar usage, I suppose. A minor perk, compared to all else.

[Heaving a sigh, she stares out of the window for a moment, then turns back to her butler.]

Once Alucard has that wretched chip removed, I have no doubt he will raze this place to the very bedrock, Walter. One way or another, the vampire will find those scientists and they will end this heinous "experiment" and return us appropriately.

[Her expression grows steely.]

I'll not have it otherwise.

My images of the outcome are very... Bloody, Sir.Integra; I understand that the scientists need to be found, but will there not be innocents caught in the cross-fire?

Yes, Walter. I know. It is a troubling nuance indeed, but it must be done. We will do what we can to warn the other residents here, but a few casualties cannot be helped.
