Okay, so I went and downloaded Skype. I really don't know why I did it. I think in the end, it'd be more annoying than a regular instant messenger. Not only would you have a list of people that you probably don't want to talk to, but then you're opening up the ability to talk to them via an online voice chat

i have skype! worth it for me because i can call the US for cheeeeep. otherwise, i wouldnt be able to talk to my brian or my parents. it's nice for harrassing my friends in xi'an too. heh.

I've heard good things about Skype. As far as I know, many podcasters use that as their medium (PotterCast for sure)
