I heard! I'll definitely have to pick up a copy now. It's not like I've played it in the last couple of years, but ... it's something that I always thought I'd have, y'know?
I'm almost afraid to check my other old games to see if they've suffered a similar fate. If FF6 and CT are gone, I'm sure stuff like FF4 has to be gone as well. :(
Yeah, I got FF6 for the Advanced when it bit the dust, and I'm considering picking up the shiny new FF4 sometime in the near future (eeee shinies!)
CT was never the most stable of carts, so at least it wasn't like this destroyed my perfect game or anything. That was ages ago, lmao. XD We just sunk SO MUCH TIME into this game, it's a little sad to see it putter out like this. It still works, but without the saving ability, it's useless. Oh well. :o A new reason to love my DS!
*Ahem* I know a lot of old games can just plain not work anymore... but if just the save-game battery died, it can actually be replaced and last another decade or two again!
If anyone wants tips reply and I'll look up the process again. You'd need a slight ability to solder, and a certain type of watch battery. I'm gonna fix my Mario World game that way as soon as my bro-in-law can find his deeply buried-under-junk soldering gun. ;)

....At least they're releasing it on the DS on Nov. 25th?

Sorry 'bout your game sweetie-pie. I haven't touched my SNES games in ages...they're probably rather dead.
Also, must get Chrono Trigger for the DS. Absolutely positively.
