OHHHHHHHH IT ALL MAKES SO MUCH MORE SENSE NOW. I admit, I was so confused about Alfred before, even if he was a reincarnation, why was he so crazy and bloodlusty when the original Alfred wasn't but... damn, I kinda feel like I should have guessed something like this but I totally did not. But it does explain a lot. He's human, but he's also part human-vampire or something like that. And holy shit that's pretty damn scary, actually. He's really a terrifying being. Poor Alfred Kirkland, he probably never meant this to happen...
Also this explains why Matthew was not-so-surprised to meet Alfred...
What about human!Matt, though? Is it also because of the connection to ex-vamp!Alfred?
