Rating: 12
Warnings: Pidge attempting to write one chapter then giving up and writing something else instead. Hence why it's late.
Summary: Uh, I need to be banned from the kink meme or monsters like this happen? Essentially, Scotland leaves the UK, which gives Northern Ireland an excuse to up and out as well, which leaves England and Wales all alone. Oh yeah, and this somehow leads to World War Three.
Ireland hadn't had the pleasure of meeting Czech and Slovakia in person before. It seemed she would be getting an impromptu introduction. She'd been having a lot of those lately.
Latvia clung to her side, shaking. If he wasn't so darn hard to hate, she'd have shaken him off by now, but then he might cry and she wasn't a soulless witch as Arthur lead everyone to believe. "S-Slovakia's the one on the left, she's a little shorter than Czech, if you l-look." his stammer had improved though. Odd that. "Czech's louder though. Y-you hear her before you see her. Usually because she's arguing with someone."
Czech also had a slightly more tan skin tone than Slovakia, but they had the same gray-blue eyes. Both had blonde hair of a darker shade than usual, nearly brown in places, though Czech seemed to have highlighted bits of hers. And despite the bindings and bullet proof vests under Slovakia's vest, her mountain ranges were very much... a tourist attraction, if the fact that Austria was turning slightly pink standing next to her and the other soldiers were putting to hell with manners and outright staring was any indication.
Ireland looked down at herself.
Fecking Europe.
"We're here to help you guys kick Russia's butt, prav." Czech asserted with a wide smile, hands on her hips. "We even brought our own weapons. You can't turn us down, prav!"
Elizaveta gave Austria a helpless look, then noticed his line of sight and smacked his upper arm. He cleared his throat and straightened. "Your governments don't know you're here, do they." It was less of a question and more of a resigned statement.
"No, they don't." Slovakia replied, voice soft but assured. "And we're not going home. We won't be under Russia's rule again."
"Not that he'll ever get the bloc up again anyway, prav."
The red headed Nation sighed as they continued to argue. She had a feeling this had the potential to go on all day. The chill winter wind swept across the camp, and she shivered, turning her collar up. "Nearly December." she muttered, mostly to herself, though she heard Latvia's mumbled reply. "No chance this'll be over by Christmas. Again."
"I-if it drags on longer than f-four years it'll be a w-world war world record." Latvia joked weakly.
So much for Christmas with the family then. Though that was potentially a good thing. As a few flakes of snow flurried past in the wind, she wondered. Was North safe? Or hurt? There was no way for her to know...
She set a mental goal. In the next 25 days, she would have North at home to spend Christmas with her, and then she'd work from there. Yeah, things went much faster with a goal in mind.
'Hold on North, I'm coming for you.'

'Scissors'
'Rock.'
'Okay, you totally hacked me that time.'
'I would never.'
'Can you just install Tetris in my head or something?'
'Um... I have Counter Strike here...'
'Old news, but whatever. Gimmie.'

Notes (lots!):
- Character notes for Czech: dropped "Republic" off the end because nobody calls France "French Republic" or England "Kingdom of England". Based appearance-wise off a co-worker I have from the Czech Republic. She's kind of epic awesome. The "prav" verbal tick is similar to China's "aru" in that is has no real meaning, though I derived it from the motto of the Czech Republic: "Pravda vítězí" or "Truth Prevails". Prav being the root word of "truth". Don't analyse it too deeply, it's just there because everyone in the Hetalia canon has a tick of some kind, eh, daze, aru, da?
- Character notes for Slovakia: Thought having a quiet character would offset the quite energetic Czech. Slovakia has a lot of mountains. That is my only reason for the boobs. They're not as big as Ukraine's but poor Ireland's still feeling inadequate. That said, as a Slav she is related to Ukraine, either as a cousin or a sister, idk. Ditto Czech. While she's quiet she's also quite intelligent and can have a deadly wit when needed. She's the same height as Hungary, mainly because of all the Hungarians that live in her.
- Czechoslovakia was from back when these two were married. Yes, married. There are no yuri ships in this fandom and there should be so there. They've been owned by... basically everyone. Austria-Hungary, Russia, Germany, Poland had a go once. It's like they had a massive "annex me!" sign on their backs.
