This really isn't surprising at all - and it hardly counts as 'news' - but it does make me wonder why fewer people read fiction/nonfiction literature.  Is it true that 100 years ago more people were reading than people do today?

but the point is quite good. and you can't count internet reading. look at this post; no capitalization and an improper use of a semicolon!
