The grape-grapefruit fruits better be worth all this trouble they're causing me. They grow on vines, right? Like grapes. Except they're growing to the full grapefruit size, which is a problem. So I've had to build little seats for each of them as they grow too large for the vine itself to support. The little seats attach to the lattice behind the ( Read more... )

That sounds like quite the endeavor Mr. Sulu. I'm not much good with plants and maybe neither are you. I'm teasing. Good luck with it though!

Nice! I'm good at making plant slings from twine, if you ever need any.

If you'd like, Mr. Sulu, I'll be sure and set aside some scrap just for you. I'll make sure no one else tries to take it, aye?

That would be awesome. I've been thinking of building a little greenhouse & some pieces of transparent aluminum would come in handy!

Actually, it's funny you should mention that; I've got a whole load of transparent aluminum left over from a little side project I was doing.

It's tinted, but I could probably manage a couple of panes if you don't mind that. If you do... well, I can separate the tint compounds, but it'd take some time.
