Home. Despite a few health issues going on, things are great. I´m with my wonderful husband in a gorgeous city with much cooler weather (than Phoenix) in a house that we can work on together, where anything I really need is close by or a tram ride away.

We're excited for you two!

Coldfire writes extremely well in English (and speaks it well, too, from what I've heard on Francesca's voice site), but I've wondered what the conversational language over there is. Is it just straight-up called "Dutch", or is there a particular dialect?

Oh, and good luck with the television... ;)

Jasper says it's called Nederlands, although there is an Amsterdam accent. Not really a dialect though. They do have different dialects throughout the the Netherlands.

I think it's great that you're settling in well. Remember, I have been semi-there (already knew the language), so if you need to vent, just buzz.

I think it's partially because you're a fabulous pastry chef, but then I don't think he's had any of yours, yet. Boy, if we get baking while you're here, he's in for a treat.
