A Cry for HelpA few days ago, the news about a storm hitting our city came and that was weird on itself. Not because we don't get hit by typhoons but because if it does, it's as rare as a blue moon and it won't be more than a few hours of rain. But what happened that Friday night of December 16th was beyond what we could ever imagined.
It has been raining non-stop since morning which poured harder as the day progressed. With the city littered with numerous waterfalls and it being a high tide made things worse.

Typhoon Sendong - Iligan City This one is the most heartbreaking picture I've seen. :'(( As of the latest count (6 a.m. of December 18th), 190+ are dead, 200+ are missing and more than 5,000 families were affected. These are huge numbers considering the city's population is just about 300,000. And the numbers are still rising :(
