I did a lot of stereotypically "adult" things this weekend. I will not say that I feel "adult", because I generally believe that classical "adultness" is an illusionary concept which wrongs and confuses both young and old - but that's another rant. Nevertheless, if I did believe in such a checklist, I hit a lot of them

I didn't go golfing per se - I just went to the driving range and hit a bucket of balls in one direction until I didn't have any more balls left.

Golf is somehow mandatory for lawyers. And doctors. Actually, all adults, really. Crap, do I have to take up golf?

Nonfiction is ok. I've been reading some stuff on ancient Greece. That should make you feel less like a dork, right?

Good luck with the new job. Hope they can handle you. Have you explained that Banach-Factor, and that you'll be running the place in a matter of days? You really should at least warn them.
