You know, I've been thinking. It was kind of fun to be a tour guide, here. It reminded of being back in The World! After I...was able to remember it, that is.

[He shakes his head.Anyway, I was wondering...there are a few noobs--I mean, new people here, right? Is there...something like a welcoming committee for them? If there is, I'd be very ( Read more... )

Aside from giving out all the information required to the new people, I do not see any further need for a welcoming committee.

We could always do something for them, too! Like make sure they have a place to stay, and things like that.

Perhaps it should be a measure of their competency to see if they can find one on their own. It isn't like it's too difficult.

But don't you think they'd be happier knowing someone was helping them?

[unlike mopey up there, here's an enthusiastic response.]

I think it sounds like a good idea! It's relieving to know you're not alone and are in the same position as everyone, nothing better than feeling welcomed!

[He grins.]

I'm glad you feel the same way! The worst thing is to feel confused in a new place, after all.

Agreed! If there's one, I'd be happy to help out!

Alright! I'll keep you updated on whether or not there is one. If not, I guess we can start one ourselves!

[Here. Have one of the "noobs" who still hasn't quite accepted a few things. Maybe you can help him out? That's what he's hoping for at least so he is just staring at the Dreamberry's screen for a moment, this having been the first time he has used it, and fiddling with the device while speaking.]

I'd much rather wake up tomorrow morning and find myself back where I belong. Don't suppose anyone's been that lucky?

[Not expecting to hear any good news about that he decides to be a little more friendly.]

How long have you been here?

Well, some people have. I think it's all pretty random if you wake up back in your world or not.

[Smile smile! don't worry about having to be friendly - Silabus will make up for it.]

Um...almost three months, I think? Yeah, that sounds right!

Ah, great, so no reward system or anything; just maybe I'll wake up and maybe I won't? How can anyone be sure we aren't dead?

[Ah, friendliness. That's good! He's clearly still agitated about the situation and finding it difficult to believe this is real. At this point he would take any answers no matter how bleak the situation looked.]

Three months? How are you...sane?

Well I don't remember being dead, so I guess we're not. I was actually playing on The World when I was brought here.

[...Headtilt.]

What do you mean? Why would I lose my sanity here?

I think whoever is nearby welcomes people. [that's what she recalls, at least.]

I'd also join.

Yeah, but maybe we could do something more! Make sure they have a place to stay and stuff like that.

Great!

Like...answer any questions they'd have? And keep them safe? That's a good idea.

Right! I'm glad you like the idea too.

I just want them to be comfortable and happy, is all.
