Well, that was a totol bust, thanks to Spike of course. I kept the glare on my face as we walked to my car and my body was somewhat sore because of the throwing around and being, oh, I don't know, numb for most of the visit. If he hadn't have come, then this wouldn't have happened, I wasn't sure what would happen, but this? Wouldn't have happened

Clenched my jaw and pressed the gas pedal down a bit harder the more he went on and on. Knew that he'd start with the "blame Spike" game soon as he got one chance. Miserable sod, why the hell couldn't he just man up and admit when he fucked up?

Kept narrowly missin cars, just to keep him worked up as we got closer to the hotel. No wait. "Think you might have things a bit backwards Angel. Something was getting onto you about the time I showed up. Don't imagine the cheerleader would much appreciate the Alyx n' Angel show. Now how about you take a few minutes to think about shutting the hell up."

Had just about passed the front of the hotel when I hit the brakes on the car, bringing us to a screeching stop. "Go ahead, blame me one more time and I'll head back on my merry way. Then you won't have to worry about blamin me now whilst ya?" Ya stupid pecker.

He slammed the brakes and my body jerked ahead before coming back and hitting the seat. My eyes narrowed as I looked over at him. He thought he was going to take my car? Didn't think so. One fluid motion, I reached over and grabbed the keys, pocketing them in my jacket. If he wanted to leave, then well .. he could walk, but I wasn't going to tell him that because in the end? He was the strongest person that I had on my side, besides Buffy.

"Just keep your mouth shut about what happened," I warned and got out of the car. Personally, I didn't want everyone to know that I went there and Alyx figured she could do whatever she wanted with me, which of course she did, but now Spike knew too much about what had happened. Plus, I figured out alot about him too. Which of course, already knew for the most part, but well, that's all history now isn't it?

"Get inside!" I growled and got out, slamming the door.

"Don't suppose you ever considered a career being a crash test dummy?" Typical of the wank to think I was about to filch his precious bit of shiny sheet metal. Knowing him he'd sit around and spend a decade brooding if I drove it around the block without him being able to see.

Bloody peacock, that's what he was.

"Yeah yeah, get inside. Aye aye cap'n." Started to salute him but just ended with flippin him the bird as I headed towards the entrance. "Keep quiet about what happened? Nothing happened, you dumb oaf. Aside from Alyx makin you her personal chair."

The only reason I'm not dusting him myself is because he's strong and good to use in a battle or something of that much importance, because right now? He was really pissing me off. Before I even opened the door, I turned around and looked at him.

"Look, I could really do without your comments and ... I'm not a dumb oaf!" I said as I stood there, putting my hands on my hips. Was I a dumb oaf? No, I wasn't. Didn't think I was. Did he really think I was? Now I was wondering if everyone else thought I was this dumb oaf.

"I don't have time for this. I have to figure out a way to bring that bitch down and either you're with me on it, which of course you are so let's stop the bickering! For ... ten minutes, at least."
