I returned home and much to my surprise, and not, I discovered Faith's little cage empty. Dusty fingerprints across the top of my small box that housed my drugs, and the lingering smell of cooked food in the house. "Yeah, you're pretty much right," I said and still stood in the same spot that I have been since I walked in. "You got what you wanted, you got the power, it's all yours," I said and looked around her office, which happened to be better than mine when I had it. What a load. Not about that. Right.
