I love the flashbacks to Sarek/Amanda (would love to see more of that, btw!). The way everyone in the Mirrorverse denies and hurts and denies some more gets me every time, and Sarek does it like a pro.

It is all about denial, isn't it? In the regular verse you confide in people, and in the mirror verse you hurt them, I guess.

I was really unsure about Foucault -- I was trying to come up with a title, and Discipline and Punish as lying nearby, but I did worry quite a bit about the pretentious vs. actually workable ratio. Particularly because trying to map mirrorverse onto Foucault comes out weird (maybe I need mirror!Foucault?)

Anyway, thank you so much for your comment (and the icon-- good to know that I'm not the only one being pretentious/artsy with star trek).
