All winter long I was in reasonably good health. Now the springtime pollen has opened the doors to infection. I make angry rants on the gross bread-smell of tree-spooge, and the way my car turned from blue to yellow overnight, one night last week. Nastiness in a flood of mucus. Out with this slimy secretion! I have some that smells like lilacs. It works really well, but it can dry my nose out if I'm not careful. If my nose gets too dry inside, it will crack and I'll get an all-body infection.

I do! Like nasal spray, though, it does its job almost too well. It dries me out, but if my nose gets TOO dry and cracks, I'll get an all-body infection.

If it gets too bad, I'll go to the doctor. But, until it gets that bad, there is nothing they can do for me.

This happens every year.
Mostly I like to whine about it.

I deal with it they way I do, because I've tried just about everything - it's been about fifteen years now on this allergy/infection cycle.

Add to my natural remedies "running on the beach" and "swimming in the Atlantic". Yes, it was d*mn cold. Most of the other people were in parkas. But, I don't know - it was just like Mille Lacs in the summer. You just have to relax into it, and remember to breathe...
