^^^I have trouble understanding how Rose can honestly believe this given the fact that she seems to have knowledge of the role the First Guardians play in grooming planets for that perpetuation. And if she doesn't believe it, that means she is lying to her friends so that she can trick them into helping her end reality. Which, um. Is an especially special brand of special right there.
Well, the way I think of it is that by destroying the Green Sun they will almost certainly be destroying a mechanism for the perpetuation of reality as it exists right now. BUT THAT MECHANISM IS KIND OF SUCKY, what with the constant destruction of civilized worlds by meteors and re-creation of new universes and of course the whole matter of the inevitable time-traveling demon.
