Today is August 24, 2004. In front of me is a post card that says "Brazil." One of the corners has become bended and wrinkled in such a way that the layers of cardboard have separated. There's a picture on the front of a woman drinking coffee from a yellow cup. She's smiling. How long does the camera shutter stay open when you take a photograph?
