It seems like the new gods are children of Odin and Thor. Descriptions shamelessly c/p'ed from http://thenorsegods.com/ :

Magni - Son of Thor and the giantess Jarnsaxa. Will inherit Thor’s hammer Mjollnir with his brother Modi after Ragnarok.
Modi - Son of Thor and the giantess Jarnsaxa. Will inherit Thor’s hammer Mjollnir with his brother Magni after Ragnarok.
Vali - Son of Odin and the giantess Rind. Conceived to avenge the death of Balder.
Vidar - Son of Odin and the giantess Grid who will avenge Odin’s death after Ragnarok.

I'm not sure who the one doing all the talking is. His Hiragana reads as Henir, and I assume he is Hœnir: "A long-legged, indecisive god. Sent to the Vanir to seal the truce between them and the Aesir. He will survive Ragnarok."

Any second opinions on this last guy? :|a

Hoenir is what I figured, too. I looked up Henil and Henir, and I couldn't find anything substantial. Besides, Hoenir is introduced as more of the one who took on Odin's will (unlike the rest of the kids), so I think you're right about him being Hoenir.

So, this new chapter begins with the gods that were left in Asgard after Ragnarok (Freya, Frey, Thor, and Heimdall). It seems that they're trying to rebuild Asgard, albeit unsuccessfully. It's been taking them a while (which is no surprise, since gods like Frey seem to be slacking off lol), so their children (specifically, Thor's kids Magni and Mordi, and Odin's kids Vidar, Vali), led by Odin's successor of sorts, Hoenir, decide to take it upon themselves as "The God Army of the New World" to rebuild Asgard themselves ( ... )

Thanks for the summary. I had to laugh at the description of Loki's new job, haha. I knew I liked him for a reason!

I thought the woman in the beginning was Hel but it turned out to be Freya XD;; in a spiffy new dress.

The style change hit Freya pretty hard, ha. The one who appears first and has glasses is Hoenir. On the page where each new person is introduced formally in the narrative box, from right to left it's Magni, Modi, Vali, Vidar.

So Magni is the friendly-looking black-haired one.
Modi is the sullen-looking black-haired one.
Vali is the one with the longish bowl cut.
Vidar is the one with long, flowing hair.

The boy with the glasses remind me of Harry Potter and I can't help thinking him as a wizard now instead as a god XD

LOL at Loki job, so much for a detective... XD

I'm happy with older!Loki and I wonder when he is going to tell Mayura his name (maybe she will remember something is he does?)

Thanks for the link!

That was what I thought as well! Especially at the close up shot so it looked like it was Harry in his hogwarts uniform XD;;;;

Or my Valkyrie Profile oriented mind was going "LEZARD VALETH!!!"

That's an art shift for ya. I feel the same way, actually. Nonetheless, I'm stoked for this series. It's been so long!
