You're right.. they tell you not to but yeah it works. Another tip is to use Curlers and a hair dryer... I curls the hair and the heat the fibers with the hair dryer and let them cool down and I repeat that about 2 more times, then I take out the curls. It works. You can also use a hair dryer to sculpt it.. I did that when I made a Cloud wig.
