Aren't they great? :) We have one whose burrow goes under our patio here and yesterday I was standing by the sliding glass door and he was lapping water from a plant saucer just on the other side of the glass!

I'm glad you posted this because I nearly died from the cuteness of 6--count 'em--SIX baby squirrels running around our backyard about a month ago. SOOOO cute! I would give my husband updates on the squirrels (climbing in the bushes...running up the rock wall, etc etc) and I think he thought I was a bit nuts. ;)

The CUTEST thing though was when one of the baby squirrels was in our Scotch Broom bush and a baby bunny (yes! We had baby bunnies too!!!) ran in there. I think they scared the shit out of each other, because I saw the bush shake all of a sudden, BOTH of 'em ran out and froze where they were. It was killing me!! LOL
