philosophically speaking, does the emotion cause the chemicals, or do the chemicals cause the emotions?

you sorta busted it down to a purely chemical level, man, and that's probably got everyone's panties in a bunch.

I guess I don't understand the COMPLEXITY of what you're trying to express. Or maybe I'm just not as versed in neurochemistry as The Great Cynic. But acetylcholine stimulates contraction in skeletal muscles and decreased contraction in cardiac muscles.

Someday I'll be as smart as you, I hope.

Meh, price I pay for trying to learn these things online before I have a class on the matter. Apologies for the misinformation. A slip in one instance of my switching a brain neurochemical with a muscular neurochemical shouldn't effect what I'm trying to express.
