I'm so tired. I just want to take a week off so bad, but I guess they need me at the daycare?
My boss took a few days off last week as did the assistant preschool teacher.
But I just want to take a few days off and spend some time with my mom who's leaving on Friday or Saturday.
I dunno. I won't actually be the one to say, "Hey Stephanie, can I take a few days off?" If Stephanie tells me there will be some days she won't need me, great! But until then I'll just have to suffer in silence.
Also, next Saturday is the wedding of one of my coworkers. I'm gonna go shopping with my mom sometime to look for a dress to wear and a gift. I'm pretty excited. I just need to find out where and when this wedding is. :/
We had a fun few days, though. Friday, my aunt, cousin, uncle, and I went to the zoo. It was a little chilly but it was cool to go back to the zoo. Then on Saturday we went hiking for about 3 miles. It was fun apart from my cousin complaining the whole time; his mom made him come. So he was all mopey. But his sister tried to cheer him up by singing random songs; it was started by my aunt suggesting they sing the Rocky song. Bad idea.
Then my cousin, the girl, continued her medley in the car. One would almost think she was high. High on life was her response.
Oh well. Then we went to Redamak's for dinner; a popular restaurant about an hour north, known for its burgers. Went to the beach afterwards; frickin' freezing there is all I have to say.
And for Easter we went to church in the morning, that was pretty nice. Not to sound like a jerk, though, but I think the service was nicer at my old church. I remember a full-out brass orchestra at my church. Whatever, it was still nice and it's not the service that counts, it's the spirit.
But I got a crapload of candy this year. Also, my uncle got each of us (me and my cousins) a little gift. I got Bolt on DVD which is pretty cool.
So yeah, hooray for random catching up. :D
