Cooperative multiplaying

Earlier today I played betrayal at house on the hill. It is a cooperative multiplayer game. Which usually means that the game will try to kill you all or win in some other way and that you and the other players must work toghetter. The better you coordinate the easier it is to win.

That's actually really sad, that the entire point of the game - work together - got tossed by the wayside the second things got tense. Even if one of them was the traitor, that was way too obvious.

Yeah. I agree. I think that two of us actually were playing our characters. I know I was.

Scary dark house. Young girl in purple clothing (the reason I choose her the colour of her token on the board). Do not move too far away from the entrance. (Even if we could not use the exit from there). Do not explore to much. Pick up all bonusses you can find before proceeding. Slow and carefull, always ready to run. (Any damage came off as reduced physical stats. Choose between might and speed. I always kept speed up).

She was fun to play.

But she was a person. Not a token. And I played the person. This was probably not the games intention. And I think GG#1 did the same.

Still, I probably would not change it next time. Maybe a 'guys, think about what you are doing. I am going to grab a cup of coffee and we'll continue to play when I am back'. Even when 'Hey, you both tried to kniock me uncouncious, why do I not give you a nice present' would be better gamewise.
