update and xmas thoughts

Things have been nuts lately
new apartment and moving
christmas activities and family
but
slowly
surely
L and the fam are seemingly on a new and similar page
which is fabulous
the retail is *giving* me 10 days off
woo, unpaid leave
i have taken 2 sick days in 3.5 years
they owe me

Hoops is over for a while on monday
should be fun
#1 team in the nation vs the hens
at least it wont make my eyes bleed

Got a tree today
sqeeeeeeeeee
the kitties are way interested in it
its too big for us but wtf why not
lights and such go on tomorrow

I think tuesday morning will be a cathartic experience, jobs over and multiple days off in a row
i honestly am not sure the last time i had more than two days off in a row

The apt is slowly turning into a house
its like a long developing transition
you can see where its going but
both images are distinctly visible and fighting for your attention still

It still floors me that i get to see her every day
makes the drive ok
