The man looked around this strange place, wondering where he was. "Well, this certainly isn't the Dark Kingdom. But where is this then? And more importantly, how did I end up here?" His eyes scanned the area, looking for familiar points, but he didn't find any.

"Hmpf, if this is one of her tricks again, I'm not impressed. At all." He said

She almost felt his presence before she saw him; it was that powerful to her. She was sure he knew she was there, too. Mercury's eyes widened.

Kunzite was here.

Quickly, the blue-haired girl wiped the expression from her face, replacing it with the dispassionate mask she'd often worn in audiences with Beryl, a more calm and serious look that was still not her usual defiance or sulking.

"Kunzite!" The voice was strong, firm, making the otherwise empty hallway almost echo. "So you're here too?" she added, a bit more quietly once he'd given her his attention.

A smirk spread across his face. There she was. "Of course I'm here. Did you think I would let you just run around freely like that? I can't have you siding with those sailor senshi again now, can I?"

Of course I'm here. Of course he was here. When had he ever not been right there, right behind her, looking over her shoulder.

"I hate that!" she exploded at him, and now the sulky expression was firmly in place. Her head lowered slightly as her eyes narrowed.

"Now, now, what kind of attitude is that, hm? Shouldn't you be a little nicer to me, since I always have to watch over you?" He tried not to laugh out loud, it was just too easy to press her buttons.
