I remember liking the Long Count Stout. The chili was very well balanced - and that is certainly the most difficult problem with that recipe I would imagine. I look forward to trying your updated version!

Mint stout does have this risk... there may be benefit to having Old Growth do a small three gallon batch sometime and see how it turns out. That way I can dispose of any potential travesties before they become public =) I have to admit that I am somewhat intrigued though. The pine beer seems to have worked out.
Well, the vote totals suggest that people want this. With the warmer temperatures coming, however, this was probably the least realistic brew for this next weekend. Whomever brews it, however, we will drink Mexican Chocolate Brau! =)
