Christmas Eve; the most boring day of the year. Nowhere's open, wherever is open is packed with last-minute shoppers and pickpockets, and nothing seems satisfying for very long. What better time than to try and think up a bit of drivel for those who have nothing better to do than read LJ :P ( Read more... )

p.s. Guitar hero and Diablo II for me. Also scaring away elderly relatives with hardcore industrial faggotry. All is well.

I think theres only one answer to the victory drink. GROLASH!

Today has been pretty boring now that you mention it, I tried playing Symphony of the Night today on the inverted castle, but I keep getting annoyed when I get really far and then die, so thats the PS1 packed away for a while! I might play pop'n later on the dual shock XD

And its a Geforce 7600GT, I dont think 7700s exist? :P

That's the one ^__^ Drummania on the dualshock is really fun if you feel like some piracy.

I'm actually going to buy Monkey Ball and Oblivion now to relieve some of this boredom.

Get Crissaegrim, I swear it's impossible to die when you're using it

I spent the first part of this day out on the town with Bournemouth lads until 3am. Since then I've slept, practiced some DJ'ing, reinstalled a bunch of software now that I have internet back, helped mum with christmas dinner (and will continue to do so). Still need to wrap shit up and get my xbox360 online.

Victory drink? I am not victory drinking anything this time of year :{

Played Halo and Dawn of War: Dark Crusade all night like a winner so now I'm bored out of my mind (finished Halo in one sitting, again) and trying to stay awake til like, 8pm. Sucks.
Victory drinking in the cold is a fail idea, but since you're a failure (haha) I'm going to go with Tesco Value Lager.

ps. Just get an internal HDD, they're hillariously cheap these days.

Adrian rapes my arse at EVERY video game, ever[*]. There isn't a single Bemani game that I am anywhere close to him in terms of ability (except maybe DDR - dunno? Even then he was better in his heyday than I was in mine) - not ever Drummania which is the one I am Least Bad at. Sometimes it is a bit saddening for me, I admit (as I used to be not bad at gaming), but most of the time I don't even think about it!

But regardless, it is definitely still fun for me to play with him, tbh. I just don't view it as a competition to beat him, more a competition to win a round (if it is a fighter, etc) ;p And session mode is always fun, because each of you can play to the best level of your ability without interfering with the others.

Then again, I'm an old git, so...

[*] I still want to buy a copy of Speedball II, as I was quite awesome at that game, and so might have a chance ;p
