Peristera here. Just updating to let everyone know that Heosphoros had surgery today for a hernia. Some of you may remember a similar surgery in November of last year. Well his body rejected the stitches used to close that hernia, causing an infection and in the end a much larger tear in the abdominal wall. Hopefully today's surgery will fix

Hopefully, and hopefully I'll regain my interest in the interweb during my recuperation.

While it's no where near as bad, I spent the month and a half after my recent wedding dealing with pain from three broken teeth...twenty year old dental work decided to fail in series over a three week period...coupled with post procedural pain from three crown preps. Never have two crown preps done at the same time, if you can help it. The pain isn't the double of one, it's the cube of the pain of one crown prep.

During that time all I could do was read and write. Burned thru the remaining four books of the Avignon Quintet in less than a week, and wrote a tonne.

Rest up, heal, and try to find a productive distraction.
